Tennessee SB1609 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 15; Title 47, Chapter 25 and Title 57, Chapter 7, concerning age-restricted products. The bill mandates the department to prepare an annual report on enforcement efforts, to be submitted to the general assembly and the public by December 31 each year. Additionally, the department must prepare an annual report for submission by the governor to the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, as required by Section 1926 of subpart I of Part B of Title XIX of the Public Health Service Act.
