Tennessee SB1572 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39 and Title 55, to change the fines for moving traffic violations and driving under the influence of an intoxicant. For non-commercial motor vehicles, the court will assess a $25 fine for moving traffic violations, and for commercial motor vehicles, a $50 fine. These fines will be used for maintenance and infrastructure improvements of public roads, streets, highways, bridges, and similar structures.
