Tennessee SB1497 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 63, Chapter 17, relative to the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact. The bill deletes a subdivision from Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-247(a), and adds a new section, 4-29-255, which specifies that the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact and other governmental entities created in 2032 will terminate on June 30, 2034. The bill also allows for the continuation, reestablishment, or restructuring of any terminated entity in accordance with the chapter.
