Allows local historical boards to contract with farmers for farming and harvesting on historical sites.

This bill amends Tennessee Code to authorize local historical boards to enter into agreements with farmers for farming and harvesting on historical sites. Specifically, it allows for farming on sites with five or more contiguous acres and harvesting on sites with fewer than five contiguous acres. All proceeds from these activities must be used for the preservation of historic sites and structures. Local historical boards must submit an annual report to the Tennessee historical commission detailing these contracts and the use of proceeds.
