Adjusts the annual salary of Putnam County General Sessions Court Judges to match that of circuit court judges and chancellors starting September 1.
This bill amends previous acts to set the annual salary of Putnam County General Sessions Court Judges equal to that of circuit court judges and chancellors starting September 1, 2030. The salary will be adjusted annually thereafter according to Tennessee Code Annotated, Sections 8-23-103(2) and 16-15-5003. The salary will be paid in twelve equal installments. The bill will only take effect if approved by a two-thirds vote of the Putnam County legislative body.
