SB1434

Amends the Tennessee Technology Corridor Development Authority by repealing certain private acts and requiring Knox County legislative approval.

This bill amends the Tennessee Technology Corridor Development Authority by repealing specific private acts from 1984 and 2011, along with any subsequent amendments. The act will have no effect unless approved by a two-thirds vote of the Knox County legislative body. Approval or nonapproval must be proclaimed by the presiding officer and certified to the secretary of state. For the purpose of approval or rejection, the act becomes effective upon becoming law, but for all other purposes, it waits for Knox County's approval.
