Tennessee SB1360 amends Tennessee Code to shield dealers, manufacturers, and sellers of firearms and related products from civil liability for damages resulting from the misuse of their products by third parties. The bill defines "qualified civil liability action" and places the burden of proof on plaintiffs to show their claims are not barred by state law. It also restricts enforcement of foreign judgments that violate Tennessee's public policy. The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
