Introduced·2/6/25

Tennessee SB1352 mandates the creation of a public tool to report on facilities subject to toxic release inventory data.

Tennessee SB1352 requires the Department of Environment and Conservation to create and maintain an informational tool on its website. This tool will provide data on facilities required to submit toxic release inventory data to the Environmental Protection Agency. Users can input an address to receive information on nearby facilities and any pending applications for construction or expansion. The tool must be updated within ten business days of receiving relevant information. The act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
