Tennessee SB1351 amends the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's record-keeping requirements by adding a new section to Title 38, Chapter 6, Part 1. The bill defines "investigative materials" to include audio and video files, recordings, transcripts, documents, reports, and other media related to an investigation. It mandates that the bureau maintain copies of all original investigative materials with the case file for each investigation. The act takes effect upon becoming law.
