Tennessee SB1204, the "Anti-Road Rage Act of 2024," amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39 and Title 55, to address road rage incidents involving firearms. The act makes it a Class E felony for a person to recklessly discharge a firearm while operating or as a passenger in a motor vehicle. It also makes it a Class A misdemeanor for a person to recklessly brandish or display a firearm in a similar situation. The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
