Tennessee SB1090 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 38 and Title 58, to permit uniformed law enforcement personnel to wear military decorations or medals from the United States armed forces, Tennessee national guard, or state guard during the week prior to Veterans Day and Memorial Day, on the days of these holidays, and the day immediately following. Employers may prohibit the wearing of these decorations if they determine it poses a safety hazard. This act takes effect upon becoming law.
