SB0997 changes Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 6-51-104, by modifying the conditions for annexation. Additionally, the total area of property owned by consenting owners must exceed half of the proposed annexation area, and the annexation must involve nine or fewer parcels. This act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
