Tennessee SB0938 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 8, Chapter 50, Part 8, to revise leave policies for state employees. Eligible employees must provide thirty days' notice for leave related to births or adoptions, but notice must be given as soon as reasonably possible if the employee learns of the event less than thirty days in advance. Leave must be used within twelve months of the qualifying event.
