SB0915 modifies Tennessee Code to exempt temporary borrow pits used in road work construction projects from certain restrictions if the projects are part of a Hurricane Helene recovery effort in a county declared a disaster by FEMA between September 26, 2024, and October 3, 2024. This exemption applies to contracts for construction work entered into with the state. The act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
