SB0871

Tennessee SB0871 directs TACIR to study and report on improving the state's continuum of care.

Tennessee SB0871 mandates the Tennessee advisory commission on intergovernmental relations (TACIR) to conduct a study on the state's continuum of care, comparing it to other states. The study, utilizing TACIR's existing resources, must survey the continuum of care in other states and compare it to Tennessee's. All relevant state departments and agencies must assist TACIR in this study. By January 1, 2026, TACIR must report its findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, to each member of the general assembly and the legislative librarian.
