Requires blood donors to disclose if they have received a COVID-19 vaccination. If a donor has been vaccinated, the blood bag must be labeled to indicate this status, though personal information must not be disclosed. In non-emergency situations, patients may request blood based on the donor's vaccination status, and if available, the requested blood must be used. This act takes effect July 1, 2025.
