Tennessee SB0619 amends health care regulations to allow removal of public information on adverse actions against providers after ten years.
Tennessee SB0619 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Title 63, and Title 68, relative to health care. It allows a provider, licensed or registered in the state, who has had an adverse action taken against their license or registration and completed a peer assistance or treatment program, to petition the relevant board for removal of public information on the adverse action and consent order after ten years. The relevant board reviews the request and, if approved, removes the information from any public place.
