Tennessee SB0559 amends the state's self-service storage facility regulations. It mandates that owners must deliver a written notice by hand, certified mail, or electronic mail to occupants before terminating or nonrenewing a rental agreement. The rental agreement may also include a provision about the owner's right to dispose of remaining property after the notice period. Occupants must remove all personal property before the owner can dispose of it. The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
