Amends Tennessee law to require the Bureau of Parks and Conservation to designate at least one day per year for free access to state parks for all.
This bill amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 58, Chapter 3, to change the entity responsible for designating a day of free access to state parks for veterans. Instead of the Division of Parks and Recreation, the Bureau of Parks and Conservation must now designate at least one day per year for free access to all state parks, including campgrounds and golf courses, for all veterans. The change takes effect upon becoming law.
