Tennessee SB0377 amends the Tennessee Procurement Protection Act to restrict procurement from foreign adversary companies. The act prohibits state agencies and political subdivisions from procuring goods or services from companies deemed foreign adversaries. A foreign adversary company is defined as one domiciled, incorporated, or headquartered in a foreign adversary country, or controlled by such a country's government. The act allows exceptions if no other reasonable procurement option exists and the contract is pre-approved by the Department of Finance and Administration.
