Tennessee SB0361 amends employment laws to require employers who know or suspect a minor has been subjected to child sexual abuse or attempted abuse to report it to the minor's parent within 24 hours. This reporting requirement is in addition to any other mandated reports. Employers must document the circumstances in the minor's employment file. Violations incur penalties of $1,000 for the first offense and $2,000 for subsequent offenses, payable to the commissioner of labor and workforce development. This act takes effect July 1, 2025.
