Tennessee SB0350 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 66, relative to leases. It prohibits landlords from restricting tenants' lawful possession, carrying, transportation, and storage of firearms in their homes, apartments, businesses, or vehicles on leased premises or in landlord-provided parking areas. Existing leases with firearm-related restrictions in effect on July 1, 2025, may remain in effect but must be amended by July 1, 2026. Tenants adversely affected by violations can sue for damages and attorney fees. The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
