Tennessee SB0322 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 8-50-813, to allow eligible state employees up to six workweeks of paid leave during a twelve-month period for the birth of a child, adoption, or to care for a family member with a serious health condition. The leave may be taken on a reduced schedule or intermittently. A "serious health condition" involves inpatient care or continuing treatment by a healthcare provider. The leave must be used within twelve months of the qualifying event. This act takes effect July 1, 2025.
