The bill amends Tennessee Code to expand educational assistance benefits for dependents of veterans with 100% service-connected disabilities. It allows dependent children and spouses of such veterans to receive tuition waivers and other fee exemptions at state-owned higher education institutions. The benefits apply to children under 23 and spouses until ten years after the disability determination or the dissolution of the marriage. The changes take effect after July 1, 2025.
