This bill amends Tennessee law to include law enforcement officers and emergency medical responders in the definition of those eligible for post-traumatic stress disorder coverage. It modifies the definitions and eligibility criteria in Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 7, Chapter 51 and Title 50, Chapter 6, to ensure these first responders are covered. The changes take effect July 1, 2025.
