Prevents permanent rules filed after January 1, 2024, from expiring on June 30, 2025.
This bill ensures that permanent rules filed in the office of the secretary of state on or after January 1, 2024, and in effect on the effective date of this act, do not expire on June 30, 2025. These rules will remain in effect until repealed or amended by the appropriate rulemaking agency or superseded by legislative enactment. However, if a rule conflicts with any legislative enactment other than the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, it will not remain in effect.
