This bill amends Tennessee law to modify parole eligibility for inmates. It allows the commissioner of correction to certify inmates for parole if they are at least 55 years old, have served at least 10 years in custody, are not serving time for violent sexual offenses or multiple first-degree murder convictions, and are not serving a life sentence without parole.
