Tennessee SB0155, the Menstrual Hygiene Products Accessibility Act, requires public schools to provide free menstrual hygiene products in women's and girls' bathrooms, locker rooms, and with the school nurse. This applies to eligible schools, defined as senior high schools. The act also allows the Department of Education to develop policies and provide guidance to local boards of education and public charter school governing bodies to help them comply with these requirements. The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
