Tennessee SB0068 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 58, Chapter 2, to terminate the Emergency Management Assistance Compact and other state entities created in 2031 by June 30, 2033. The Emergency Management Assistance Compact, established by § 58-2-403, will cease to exist on this date. Additionally, any department, commission, board, agency, or council created during calendar year 2031 will also be terminated on the same date. This act takes effect upon becoming law, as the public welfare requires.
