Tennessee HJR7006 proposes an amendment to the state constitution to set congressional district boundaries after each census and prohibit changes.

Tennessee HJR7006 proposes an amendment to the state constitution to mandate that the General Assembly establish congressional district boundaries following each decennial census conducted by the U.S. Bureau of Census. The amendment would also prohibit changes to these boundaries between censuses. If approved, the amendment would be referred to the next General Assembly and published on the official websites of the Secretary of State and the General Assembly.
