This resolution commends the Community Action Group of Englewood for its role in organizing Englewood June Days, now known as Englewood Celebrates. The celebration, which began in 1986 as part of Tennessee Homecoming '86, has continued annually for forty years, preserving Englewood's heritage through events like a tractor show, food and craft vendors, and community gatherings. The Community Action Group of Englewood, originally the Homecoming '86 Planning Committee, now operates the Englewood Textile and History Museum and organizes various community events.
