A resolution to honor the memories of Preston W. Carroll and Dorothy I. "Darbo" Carroll for their contributions to their family and community.

The Tennessee House of Representatives and Senate honor the memories of Preston W. Carroll and Dorothy I. "Darbo" Carroll for their manifold contributions to their family, fellow citizens, and the State of Tennessee. Preston Carroll came to Wayne County in 1952, married Darbo Cole, and they made Clifton their home. They lived with Darbo's parents for twelve years, having three children, and later moved to a home they built in Clifton. Preston was a prominent businessman, owning construction companies, coal mines, a limestone mine, and a tractor company.
