Governor Bill Lee appointed Jean-Phillipe as an at-large member for a term ending June 30, 2029. Jean-Phillipe holds a master's degree in botany and a Ph.D. in natural resources from the University of Tennessee. She has been a professor of urban forestry since 2021 and serves as the faculty director of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships.
