Amends the charter of the Town of Oakland to redefine the role and responsibilities of the Town Manager.

This bill amends the charter of the Town of Oakland, specifying the role and responsibilities of the Town Manager. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen appoints the Town Manager, who serves at their will and is the chief administrative officer. The Town Manager is responsible for directing all offices, departments, and activities, disciplining directors and department heads, and appointing and removing subordinate officers and employees. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen cannot give orders to the Town Manager's subordinates.
