Tennessee HB2595 allows courts to order extra parenting time for parents whose visitation was denied due to false allegations of abuse or neglect.
Tennessee HB2595 amends state law to allow courts to order additional parenting time for parents whose visitation was previously denied due to false allegations of abuse or neglect. If a parent can prove the other parent intentionally made or participated in false allegations, the court must order additional periods of parenting time. The additional time must be of the same type and duration as the time that was denied, may include weekend, holiday, or summer parenting time, and must occur within two years of the denial.
