Tennessee HB2589 amends tax filing deadlines to extend them by five days each year until 2030.

Tennessee HB2589 changes the tax filing deadlines in Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 6. It modifies the current requirement for filing taxes on or before February 1 each year to a new deadline of February 15 each year. This change will apply from the current year until February 15, 2030. The act will take effect immediately upon becoming law.
