Tennessee HB2553 requires the Tennessee Department of Education to review and propose revisions to physical education standards to incorporate the Presidential Fitness Test by December 31, 2027. The proposed standards must be based on guidance from the President's Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition and be posted for public review. This act responds to Executive Order No. 14327 issued by the President of the United States on July 31, 2025.
