Amends Tennessee law to redefine pocket knives, clarify firearm and weapon restrictions, and establish procedures for justified use of force.

This bill amends Tennessee law to redefine "pocket knife" as a knife with blades that fold into the handle and can be carried in a pocket. It removes certain subsections and modifies others to clarify restrictions on carrying weapons, particularly firearms, in various settings including schools, court buildings, and public or private educational institutions. The bill also establishes procedures for law enforcement and prosecutors to follow when a claim of justified use of force is raised, including the requirement for law enforcement to consult with the district attorney general before.
