Tennessee HB2497 amends the state's emergency management code by modifying the definition of public works to include healthcare facilities. This change is made by deleting the language "public works, land use and land use planning" and substituting "public works, healthcare facilities, land use, and land use planning" in Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 58-2-116(a). The act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
