Amends Tennessee employment rules for local education agencies regarding relative employment.
This bill modifies Tennessee's employment rules for local education agencies (LEA) concerning relatives. It allows two or more relatives to work for the LEA, even if they are under the same direct line of supervision. If such relatives are under the same supervision, the director of schools must attempt to resolve the issue by transferring one employee. If transfer is not feasible or in students' best interest, an alternate evaluation plan must be devised.
