Tennessee HB2482 amends Title 49 of the Tennessee Code Annotated to allow local boards of education to contract with nonprofit or for-profit entities for the operation and management of adult high schools. The bill specifies that these entities must receive state and local school funding from the local board of education. For the first year of operation, funding is based on anticipated enrollment, while subsequent years' funding is based on the previous year's enrollment.
