HB2472 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, to redefine criminally negligent homicide. It specifies that criminally negligent conduct includes failing or refusing to render aid to another who is unconscious or in need of medical care, if the person knows or reasonably should know of the unconsciousness or need for medical care. This act takes effect July 1, 2026.
