Tennessee HB2402 amends the state code to mandate that if a first responder from a local emergency management agency is killed in the line of duty, the chief executive officer of the local government must order all flags at public buildings in the jurisdiction to be flown at half-mast for at least one day. This act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
