Tennessee HB2391 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-6-1021, to modify student discipline procedures. The bill allows teachers or administrators to remove a student from physical activities or assign alternative lessons if the student engages in conduct or behavior that violates school discipline policies or significantly disrupts other students. The act takes effect upon physical activity if the student engages in violent or threatening behavior or any other behavior that impairs other students' participation.
