Tennessee HB2343 amends the Tennessee Code to increase the personal and professional leave for teachers. Under local board of education policies, teachers must now be allowed leave at a rate of two days for each half-year employed. Additionally, the leave entitlement is increased from two to four days. This act takes effect July 1, 2026.
