Extends the duration of personal rights protections from ten years to one hundred years.
This bill amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 8, Chapter 3; Title 47, Chapter 25 and Title 47, Chapter 18, to extend the duration of personal rights protections from ten years to one hundred years. The changes apply to subsection (a) and subdivision (b)(2)(A). The act will take effect on July 1, 2026, as the public welfare requires it.
