Tennessee HB2261 modifies the Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 66-24-101, to redefine the types of writings eligible for registration. It specifies that agreements, notices, affidavits, memoranda, or abstracts related to the conveyance of real or personal estate are now eligible, provided they include the signatures of all parties authenticated under § 66-22-101 and the expiration date of the agreement. This act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
