Tennessee HB2173 modifies the Tennessee Code to alter the procedure for contesting the seizure of FDA-approved medications. Specifically, it mandates that the owner or person in legal possession must request a hearing in writing or electronically within ten days of receiving notice to show cause to the board why the drugs or devices are not subject to seizure. This act will take effect immediately upon becoming law.
