Tennessee HB2161 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 29-17-102, to redefine the scope of eminent domain for public transportation projects. The acquisition of land for sidewalks, public greenways, bicycle lanes, pedestrian ways, and proper slope development is now included. This act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
