Tennessee HB2062 amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 17, to increase the legal limit for marijuana possession from one-half ounce (14.175 grams) to five ounces (141.748 grams). The bill modifies the penalties for possession, making possession of less than five ounces a Class A misdemeanor, punishable by a fine. The changes take effect July 1, 2026.
